AML Policy Summary
Effective 15 July 2026
1. Our approach
Horse Router DAO ("HorseRouter") does not tolerate money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or fraud. This is a summary of how that works for an aggregator that never holds user funds. It takes effect on 15 July 2026.
2. How HorseRouter is set up
HorseRouter compares quotes from partner exchanges and liquidity providers ("Partners"). We do not hold, custody or transfer user funds, we do not have user accounts, and we do not connect to your wallet. Partners execute and settle swaps.
HorseRouter does not itself collect identity documents from users. Partners may do so.
3. Screening
- We do not screen the receiving addresses users provide, and we cannot screen the sending wallet, because we do not connect to it. Users confirm that their funds come from lawful sources and that they are entitled to use the receiving address, and they use the Service at their own risk.
- Partners screen incoming deposits.
- We apply our Restricted countries list through our terms, and we do not allow use that breaks sanctions laws.
4. What Partners may do
Partners apply their own checks and may ask you for information, delay a swap, hold funds, or return funds, in line with the law and their own policies. By using the Service you accept that this can happen. Any outcome for held funds is decided by the Partner.
5. Reporting concerns
If you see a scam, a hack, or suspicious activity involving HorseRouter, email support@horserouter.com or use the "Report a hack or scam" link in the footer. We may cooperate with law enforcement and regulators where the law requires it.
6. Regulatory status
HorseRouter operates as a non-custodial aggregator and does not currently hold a registration or licence with a financial regulator.
