Privacy Policy
Effective 15 July 2026
1. Who we are
Horse Router DAO ("HorseRouter", "we") runs the HorseRouter website and tools. This policy explains what information is handled when you use them. It takes effect on 15 July 2026.
2. No account, and what we collect
You do not need an account to use HorseRouter, and we do not ask you for your name, email address or identity documents.
When you use the Service, the following information is handled:
- Details of a swap request: the assets, the amount and the receiving address you enter. These are sent to our servers and to the Partners needed to produce a quote and carry out the swap. A receiving address is a public blockchain address. We do not keep swap records in our own database.
- Website analytics: if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics, which records information such as your IP address, device and browser details, the pages you view and the actions you take, including campaign (UTM) parameters in the link you arrived from.
- Support messages: if you contact us, we receive what you send, including your Telegram username if you use Telegram.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visitors apart and measure use of the site. These cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner, and nothing is sent to Google Analytics before you do. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. Declining or withdrawing consent stops analytics and removes the cookies.
Your browser also stores three things locally on your device: your last swap selection (assets and amount) so the widget can pre-fill it, your light or dark theme choice, and your cookie choice. These stay on your device and are not sent to us.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
4. How we use information
- to provide quotes and carry out swaps through Partners;
- to understand how the site is used and improve it;
- to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse and illegal use;
- to meet legal obligations, including sanctions and anti-money-laundering rules.
5. Who we share it with
We share swap details with the Partners that carry out your swap. Partners have their own privacy practices and may collect additional information, including for compliance checks. We also use Google for analytics. We may disclose information to authorities where the law requires it.
6. Public blockchains
Blockchain transactions are public and permanent. Anyone can see the addresses, amounts and timing of a transaction, and we cannot change or delete blockchain data.
7. How long we keep information
Google Analytics data is kept for 2 months. We do not keep swap records in our own database. Partners may keep records according to their own policies, and blockchain records are public and permanent. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to help you.
8. International transfers
Information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including by Google and by Partners.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete information about you, to object to some processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, email general@horserouter.com. We may need to verify who you are first.
10. Security and children
We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no system is completely secure. The Service is not for anyone under 18.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the date at the top when we do. Questions: general@horserouter.com.
